Game Designer (English and Russian)

Nord Beaver is an experienced player in the market of developing gamifications and web games. We develop gaming solutions that are universal for variety platforms and devices and do not require installation. We help make digital products more effective by introducing game mechanics, and also develop and publish our own games for social networks and html5 platforms.

Now we are looking for a talented Game Designer who has experience with big multiplayer projects

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Project:

• Cyberpunk style MMORPG

Responsibilities:

• Game Design: Develop and refine game mechanics, systems, and features that align with our vision for the game. Ensure all design elements enhance player engagement and contribute to a cohesive game experience

• Content Management: Create, configure, and manage in-game content, including items, VFX, abilities and enemies

• Documentation: Provide clear documentation and communicate design concepts with managers effectively. Support of the documentation for a feature with deep understanding of the necessity of that feature is expected

What kind of professional are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in game design. Prior experience with MMORPGs is highly preferred🙌

• Articy Tool Proficiency: Experience with the Articy tool is expected

• Game Design Expertise: Deep understanding of game design principles, including emotional drivers, player motivations, decision-making algorithms, and skill gradients. Ability to apply these principles to create engaging and immersive experiences

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with game development tools and engines. An understanding of database management (filling jsons, managing google sheets, Notion and in-game data) is required

• Team Player: Communication and collaboration using Discord and Asana, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Language proficiency in English and Russian
