For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Whimsy s is a young, fast-growing creative development company looking for a Game economist for blockchain-based products

We are currently searching for an experienced Economy Designer who will oversee, implement and tune the in-world economy and own the in-game economy. You will be collaborating with game designers, product managers, and blockchain developers to devise the strategy for blockchain products.

Required professional experience/competencies:
- Relevant work experience as a game designer from 2 years;
- Good level of English (verbal and written communication);
- Creating game economy models from "scratch" and evaluating their performance and impact on player experience and behavior;
- Higher education in economics/mathematics/statistics;
- Excellent knowledge and experience in the practical application of combinatorics, statistics, and probability theory;
- Strong econometric skills, ability to model problems in quantitative systems and draw qualitative conclusions from quantitative data;
- Statistical knowledge, the ability to formulate relationships specific to each game, identify weaknesses and strengths in its economy/balance;
- Developed analytical and logical thinking, the ability to decompose problems into key variables and determine relationships between them;
- Experience in financial model building with a specific focus on gaming product development;
- Excellent understanding of acquisition, retention, and monetization concepts;
