Lead Unity Developer

About the role:

As a Lead Unity Developer, you will lead a team of developers in creating small to medium-sized mobile hybrid casual, casual games. This role requires strong technical expertise in Unity/C# and the ability to provide guidance to the team while ensuring high coding standards and effective communication. You will also be responsible for managing the technical aspects of the project and collaborating with designers and artists to deliver high-quality gameplay experiences.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development of gameplay mechanics, ensuring they align with project goals and technical requirements.

2. Collaborate closely with designers and artists to integrate assets and implement game features.

3. Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices within the team.

4. Provide technical guidance and support to team members on a day-to-day basis.

5. Manage the codebase effectively, including version control and code reviews.

6. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other stakeholders.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

Qualifications:

1. Extensive experience in game development using Unity/C#, with a proven track record of delivering projects.

2. At least 3 years experience in Unity

3. Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, Perforce, SVN, or similar tools.

4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.

5. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently in a remote working environment.

Bonus Qualifications:

1. Experience developing multiplayer online games in Unity or Unreal Engine.

2. Familiarity with backend services development using Node.js, Python, or Go.

3. Previous leadership or managerial experience in a technical role 1+ year at least.
